CZN Burak's mother sentenced to 2 years and 7 months in prison for bribery
Didem Bozbura, the mother of social media phenomenon and restaurateur CZN Burak, has been sentenced to 2 years and 7 months in prison for bribery in the 'embezzlement' case in which she was tried. The court also sentenced two other defendants, Mazhar Alp Bozbura and Yasin Şimşek, to prison terms. The case began when a complaint was filed by Dr. Metin Keskin, a professor at Istanbul University's Faculty of Medicine, alleging that Yasin Şimşek had demanded 8,500 TL from the family of a patient in exchange for performing surgery.
