CZN Burak's mother sentenced to prison for bribery
Didem Bozbura, the mother of CZN Burak, a popular Turkish chef and social media influencer, has been sentenced to 2 years and 7 months in prison for bribery. She was accused of accepting bribes while working at Istanbul University's Faculty of Medicine. Her husband, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Alp Bozbura, and their employee, Yasin Şimşek, were also sentenced to prison for the same crime. This is not the first time Didem Bozbura has been convicted of bribery, as she served time in prison for the same offense two years ago. The court also lifted the travel ban on the defendants.
