250-year-old Ottoman motifs revealed in historic mosque during restoration

Restoration work continues at the historic Ulu Mosque, built during the reign of Seljuk Sultan III. Alaaddin Keykubat in Çorum, where Ottoman motifs and calligraphy that were covered with plaster years ago have been revealed. The restoration, which is being carried out by the Vakıflar Tokat Regional Directorate, is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The restored mosque will be reopened for worship.
