192 people detained for trying to enter Taksim Square without permission on May Day

In Istanbul, 192 people were detained for trying to enter Taksim Square without permission as part of the May Day celebrations. Despite intense security measures, groups trying to march to Taksim Square were intervened by the police at various points. The detained were released after their statements were taken.
