More Than 15 Thousand Tourists İn 6 Cruise Boats Flock To Kuşadası
In western Aydın resort province, six cruise boats have brought more than 15 thousand tourists to Kuşadası district. Two of the cruise boats have had to drop anchor off the coast, since the port was full, among the 'Island Prıncess', 'Sea Dream II', 'Rhapsody Of The Seas', 'Celebrity Constellation', 'Silver Spirit' and 'Star Clipper' titled cruises. The tourist flock travelling mostly from USA, England, France and Japan, has caused intensity in the province, while having pleased the shopkeepers in the region by shopping in the bazaar, and stopping by the cafes in the district. Some of them have discovered the Efes Ancient Site and other archaeological sites in İzmir's Selçuk district. The Ege Ports Marine officials announced that this season, 260 cruise boats carrying 300,000 tourists have visited Kuşadası, and said that this number could reach 700,000 thousands, over the expansion of ferry services to Greek Islands.
